Our Commitment
At 1405 Photography, the safety, comfort and respect of every child comes first. As specialists in the early learning photography industry, we value the trust placed in us by families, educators and centres.
We maintain zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to ensuring every photography session is delivered in a safe, supportive and inclusive way.
Legislative Alignment
1405 Photography operates in accordance with the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005 (VIC) and supports the Victorian Child Safe Standards as guided by the Commission for Children and Young People.
Child safety responsibilities are embedded across all stages of our service — from preparation and attendance on site through to image delivery and storage.

Our Team
All photographers and representatives who attend centres:
✔ Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
✔ Understand appropriate conduct in early learning environments
✔ Follow child-safe recruitment and screening procedures
✔ Are required to follow our Child Safe Code of Conduct
During Photography Sessions
To protect children and services:
✔ Only children with confirmed parental/guardian consent are photographed
✔ Educators guide supervision according to centre policy
✔ Participation is always child-led — never forced
✔ Photography occurs in open, visible spaces
✔ Images are stored in password-protected systems
✔ Galleries are shared via private, secure links
✔ No marketing or public use occurs without additional written consent
