Hi, I’m Kelly, and 1405 Photography has been my heart and soul for over 16 years.
As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a dancer — but life had something even more special planned for me.
When I was seven years old, I took a photograph of my mum. I still remember the excitement I felt when we collected it from the printer. Seeing that image sparked something in me, and without realising it at the time, it set me on the path to becoming the photographer I am today.
In the beginning, I loved every style of photography and wasn’t sure where I would land. Then I was invited to photograph a childcare centre… and that was it — I had found my passion.
The smiles, the giggles, the tiny personalities and the beautiful innocence I get to capture each day make this work incredibly rewarding. Knowing the joy families feel when they receive their photographs is what inspires me to keep going, year after year.
As the business has grown, I’ve expanded into family portraits, events and on-location sessions. I treasure every opportunity, especially the chance to freeze a moment in time that will become a lasting memory in someone’s home.

My name is Danielle.
I have loved photography since I was a teenager, from developing film in a darkroom to capturing landscapes on different adventures, it’s always an amazing escape for me. Although my camera has changed over the years it has always been my most prized possession. I love being able to capture the beauty I see in everything through my lens. What I love most about photography is the Longevity of it, your not just capturing photos for yourself and your family but for future generations, so they can see what once was.
Now I’m currently a photographer at 1405 photographer where I get to capture the cheeky smiles of your little ones.
Each day is a new venture on its own as we get to make new little friends and take them on their own little adventures, capturing their beautiful smiles along the way.

Hi, I’m Maddie!
One of the friendly photographers/Assistant here at 1405 Photography.
A few fun facts about me… I’m a mum to two beautiful little humans, I’m usually found sitting on the floor chatting with little people, I can make some pretty questionable animal noises when the occasion calls for it, and I think every child deserves to have photos that captures who they are.
The first time I picked up a camera, I was 11 years old. It was my auntie’s fancy Canon, and I remember looking through the viewfinder thinking there was something really special about seeing the world through a lens. Safe to say, I was hooked.
These days, I get to spend my days doing what I love most, capturing little personalities as they truly are. The cheeky grins, the belly laughs, the serious little expressions, and all the wonderfully unique moments in between.
Being a mum has taught me that the best smiles aren’t forced, and the best photos happen when children feel comfortable enough to just be themselves. Whether your little one is full of energy, a little shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll meet them exactly where they’re at (with plenty of silly noises and questionable dance moves if needed!).
I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the 1405 Photography team, creating memories that families will treasure for years to come. I can’t wait to meet your little one and capture this special chapter of their story.
